    2.2 Terminology
    In mathematics there are used many expressions that belong to the mathematical language, and naturally, it is important if you understand the meaning of those different expressions. If you can master these expressions, then you will have an easier time understanding and succeeding with mathematics. Here below is a list of some words that are associated with addition and subtraction.

    Addition

    Symbol: +

    Example of addition:
    "Two plus seven is equal to nine"

    Words that can mean to add:

    Subtraction
