    3.5 From subtraction to division
    Did you know that division can be described by using repeated subtraction?
    Here is an example which explains this.

    15 ÷ 3 = ?

    Imagine that Jean, Jasmine and William are to divide between them 15 pieces of candy. The begin dividing by each getting a piece at a time.

    Here above, you can see that they handout 3 pieces of candy 5 times, “3 in 15 goes 5 times”.

    We can also show that subtraction can even be division.
